1974The first unisex salon in PeterboroughMichael opens his salon in November 1974. Some clients from that first year still come in regularly today.
1982British ChampionsMichael wins the British Championship. Kris takes the British title for Ladies Cut & Blow Dry in 1982, and again in 1984.
1996The Michael John AcademyOur training academy opens, now running private courses for hairdressers and NVQ apprenticeships.
TodayThe next generationMichael, Kris and their daughter Amber share the running of the salon, alongside creative designers who've been with us for decades.
